Eclipsed New Moon in Sagittarius 2021

It’s a busy lunar month astrologically!  We’ve got the very last eclipse in Sagittarius, a total solar eclipse no less, the December solstice, Venus turning retro, the last of the Saturn-Uranus squares (keep an eye on the news!!!) and Jupiter moving into Pisces.
We still have two weeks to go of the current eclipse season – remember to be especially careful as accidents and other mishaps are much more common at eclipse time.  Be mindful and stay present!
Registration is now open for my live Astrology courses next year – if you’ve been wanting to study Astrology for a while, now’s your chance!  Courses are available at Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels.  Register now and take advantage of the early bird!

And if you’d like to learn more about the extraordinary cycles and mysteries of Venus, come along to to my Cycles of Venus webinar.

Sagittarius, the archer

The New Moon in Sagittarius on Sat 4 Dec is a total solar eclipse, the last of the eclipses in Sagittarius.  This eclipse will be visible in Antarctica, and as a partial eclipse in Tasmania and the very south of South Africa.

The eclipsed New Moon in Sagittarius is an opportunity to begin a new cycle in your life that’s adventurous, enthusiastically exploring new frontiers, feeling the need to enjoy life to the full.  This is a perfect time to start on a spiritual quest, a course of study or overseas travel (if that’s allowed!!!) – anything that expands your horizons. The travel can of course be internal – a spiritual journey, to the truth of who you are.

Sagittarius is a Fire sign, warm and enthusiastic, naturally optimistic and with an undying trust in the Universe.  Sagittarians love to explore and go on adventures, not just for the fun of it, but because they’re also motivated by a quest to discover the meaning of life. Their sign is ruled by Jupiter, which gives them their boundless enthusiasm and confidence – and on the downside (every sign has its downside), a tendency to go over the top, take lots of risks and over-extend themselves, not knowing when or where to stop.

Find where this eclipsed New Moon falls in your chart at 12 Sagittarius and tune into the new departure potentially starting for you now.  The house placement will show you which part of your life is most affected.

If your birthday is close to this eclipsed New Moon (within a day either side), this marks the beginning of an intensely significant new cycle in your life in terms of your identity and your sense of purpose.

If you have a planet at 12 degrees of Sagittarius, this marks the beginning of a new cycle in whatever that planet symbolizes (eg relationships for Venus).

Your New Moon intentions will be especially powerful this month with the eclipse.  Create your intentions within 24 hours of the New Moon, which is exact at 5.43pm AEST (Queensland time).
