The Full Moon in Pisces on Wed 18 Sept is not only a Lunar Eclipse but also the second of four consecutive SuperMoons, tripling the intensity of Full Moon energy!

Expect feelings to run high with a stronger-than-usual emotional charge – especially with the lunar eclipse as well.  Tides will be higher than usual and extreme weather patterns like storms and flooding are more likely.  Emergency workers are likely to be overstretched.

The Full Moon in Pisces highlights the importance of finding a balance between holding the creative vision (Pisces) yet at the same time paying attention to the mundane details which ground that vision (Virgo).  If these two polarities are out of balance, you either get a vision that can’t be brought through to reality, or one that evaporates and is lost through too much attention to detail.  Full Moons are always about bringing polarities into balance.

This eclipsed Full Moon could also bring the Piscean themes of sacrifice and martyrdom into sharp focus.

As always with a SuperMoon, the Full Moon appears larger and brighter in the sky than usual, and has a much stronger-than-usual effect on us, heightening emotional dramas. And on top of that, it’s a lunar eclipse – which intensifies the energy even further. It’s a partial lunar eclipse, so it won’t be the spectacular blood-red of a total lunar eclipse, just a chunk taken out of the Moon rather like a quarter lunar phase – but over some hours you’ll see her move into that and then move out again.  It’ll still have a strong effect on us though!

Full Moons often bring situations to a head, so be prepared for issues (whether at the personal or collective level) to reach some kind of crisis point where resolution becomes imperative. Any crisis happening now will of course be heightened by the lunar eclipse and the SuperMoon.

The eclipsed SuperMoon Full Moon falls at 25 degrees of Pisces and is exact at 12.34pm Queensland time (AEST) on Wed 18 Sept (with the lunar eclipse exact at 12.44pm AEST and therefore not visible in Australia).  The best time for celebration and ceremony will be the previous night while the energy is still building.  Expect feelings to run high … it is an eclipsed SuperMoon after all!

Check your birth chart (and those of your loved ones) to see where in the chart this lunar eclipse SuperMoon at 25 Pisces falls.  You can always expect significant changes where the eclipses fall in your chart.
