NOTE If you decide to study astrology, you will start on a lifelong journey of self-exploration and self-discovery – and if you have already started on this journey, astrology will take you much, much deeper. Astrology is a unique tool for gaining insight into yourself (and of course others) and is ultimately a way of bringing greater awareness into our lives. It can also be a lot of fun! If this appeals to you, I hope to see you at my courses or workshops.
Astrology Study Programme 2018
Astrology courses are available at all levels ranging from beginner to advanced, held on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, usually around Landsborough or Yandina. Online courses are also offered for those unable to make classes in person. There are 4 modules in the Foundation course, 4 modules in the Intermediate course, and 8 modules in the Advanced course, taking you ultimately to professional practitioner level. If you are unable to attend classes in person, the online courses are a great option. It’s also possible to study via email, or to have private tuition with me – for more details, click on the link below, or send me an email outlining your situation.
Astrology workshops on specialist topics are held regularly, usually at weekends although sometimes on weekdays, again for details click on the links below.

Foundation Course 2018
The Foundation Course takes you from complete beginner in Foundation 1 to being able to interpret an astrological birth chart by the end of Foundation 4. Everyone is welcome – beginners and those wanting to refresh their knowledge.
It is recommended that you keep a journal while you study as you will learn so much about yourself and your loved ones – truly a journey of self-discovery and transformation!
Foundation 1: Astrology – the Basics
Discover the insights of astrology and learn more about yourself, your family and friends in this introductory module. This module covers the essential of chart interpretation (the planets, signs, elements, modality, polarity and houses) and is an excellent foundation for further study.

Foundation 2: Aspects & Chart Factors
The second module in the Foundation Astrology course, this module focuses on how planets combine through aspect patterns, as well as other significant chart factors such as Moon phases and retrograde planets.
This module builds on the solid base provided by Foundation 1, and develops students’ ability to understand the complexity of natal chart factors. Students learn how to combine different planetary influences in the chart and transform challenging aspect patterns. Celebrity charts are used as examples as well as students’ own charts – deepening your personal journal of exploration and discovery.
This module is suitable for those who already have an understanding of the basics.

Foundation 3: Mythology & Chart Analysis
The third module in the Foundation Astrology course, this module focuses on Mythology and the Archetypal energies that form the basis of interpretation in Psychological Astrology. This module builds students’ knowledge and understanding step by step so that by the end of the module, students are well-prepared for full chart interpretation (Foundation 4).

Foundation 4: Fluency in Interpretation
The fourth and last module in the Foundation Astrology course, this module focuses on Chart Interpretation. Through a systematic approach to interpreting a birth chart, and extensive practice of chart interpretation, you will start to develop fluency in natal chart interpretation.
This module is suitable for those who have a good grasp of all the elements of natal chart interpretation (Foundation levels 1, 2 & 3) and now need guidance around integrating their analysis into meaningful chart interpretation. This module focuses on fluency in chart interpretation and consolidates the year’s study.

Intermediate Course 2018
The Intermediate Course focuses on the predictive techniques of Transits (Intermediate 1), and Secondary Progressions (Intermediate 2). It assumes you can already interpret a birth chart and are now ready to go to the next level! For this reason, you do need to have completed a Foundation course (either with me or elsewhere) to be able to join this Intermediate Course.
Intermediate 1: Transits – the Time of Your Life!
The first module in the Intermediate course, ‘Transits – the Time of Your Life!’ explores how the planets influence us throughout our lives, including times of crisis and transition. Understand why the “Mid-Life Crisis” is so challenging, how we can pinpoint the exact timing of each of its phases with Astrology, and how to navigate these challenging times more consciously.
This module is suitable for those who already completed a Foundation course and have an understanding of Natal Chart Interpretation.

Intermediate 2: Progressions – the Unfolding of a Life
The second module in the Intermediate course, ‘Progressions – the Unfolding of a Life’ explores how Astrology can track the unfolding of a life through the predictive technique of secondary progressions. Progressions are one of the most useful techniques in the predictive astrologer’s repertoire, and are a unique timing device. Topics explored include: the progressed Sun, the progressed Moon through the signs and houses, the progressed Lunar Return, the progressed Lunation Cycle, and progressed retrogrades.
This module is suitable for those who already have an understanding of Natal Chart Interpretation (Foundation course) and Transits (Intermediate level 1).

Intermediate 3: Dynamic Integration
This module focuses on Intermediate level chart interpretation, developing astrological fluency, integrating progressions and transits into a dynamic chart interpretation.

Intermediate 4: The Astrology of Relationships
The most popular Astrology module I run (!) this is the fourth and last module in the Intermediate course. ‘The Astrology of Relationships’ explores the fascinating and complex subject of relationships and how Astrology can throw light on so many different aspects of a relationship. Topics covered include: relationship indicators in the birth chart, synastry and composite charts, plus dynamic aspects – the effects of transits and progressions on the relationship.
This module is suitable for those who have a good grasp of natal chart interpretation (Foundation course) and dynamic chart interpretation (Intermediate levels 1, 2 & 3).

Advanced Course 2018
The Advanced Course is for those who are really serious about astrology! If you’ve come this far, you’ve probably got your sights set on being a professional astrologer, or like many of us, by now you are just completely addicted!
Each module is 10 units, which can be run as 5-week (double classes) or 10-week (single unit) classes. Please contact me if you are interested in joining an advanced class, or if you’re interested in studying at this level privately. Please note that not all levels run each year as classes.
Advanced 1: Midpoints
This module explores the theory and practice of midpoints.

Distance Learning Programme & online learning
Distance learning in Astrology is offered at all levels from beginner to advanced. The distance learning programme follows the same format as the classes, with 4 modules at Foundation and Intermediate levels, and 8 modules at Advanced level.
One advantage of distance learning is that you have individual tuition by email or by phone/internet, which enables you to ask questions and discuss any points of interest to you.
Another advantage is that you are able to study at your own pace. If you find the material easy, you can move quickly, and if you need to spend longer on a topic, you can take your time. The study schedule is up to you.

- Advanced modules (Advanced 1 – Advanced 8): AU$750 per module.
Within this option, private tutorials by phone or internet (Skype/Google+) are always available as an optional extra as a way to supplement your studies, organised by appointment.
